Pakistan Provincial Assembly Election 2024 will be held on 25 July
2024. The elections for the national assembly and all provincial assemblies will
be held on the same day. However, there are provincial assemblies in Pakistan for
all four provinces (Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). In Pakistan
Provincial Assembly Election 2024, Punjab Assembly, Sindh Assembly, Baluchistan
Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly had 297, 130, 51, and 99 seats respectively.
Currently, PMLN, PPP, PPMAP, and PTI have the highest number of seats in Punjab
Assembly, Sindh Assembly, Baluchistan Assembly, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly

PMLN has a strong support in Punjab and they grabbed 214 Punjab Assembly seats in
2013 elections while PTI came second with 19 seats. In Sindh, PPP is the top political
party from several decades. It grabbed 69 seats in 2013 elections while MQM got
the second place with 39 seats. PTI surprised the political pundits in 2013 elections
as it became the top political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It got 34 seats while
PMLN came on second place with 12 seats. In 2013 elections, a tough competition
has been seen in Baluchistan where PPMAP, PMLN, and NP got 10, 9, and 7 seats respectively.
According to political analysts, a tough competition is expected in all provinces.
